THIS IS HOW YOU WIN THE TIME WAR
You don't.2323: A future where society has been transformed by new technology, achieving greater feats we'd never once believed we could before, including cloning, mutations, virtual immortality, and interstellar and time travel. In South Korea, it is their military that runs the country under its strict jurisdiction. Peace and order within lines of the law are the only priorities of its current President, and are thus concepts trained into every soldier to be taken very seriously. No whispers of corruption, tyranny and fraud may escape word of mouth, no illegal practices shall be conducted without permission. Judgement is an every minute occurrence. And yet still, the country is rife with malice and hatred, renegade titles passed down for generations upon generations. Corruption; a cancer.Elite soldier Hong is tasked to turn back 300 years, to 2023, with only a list of names in her breast pocket. Her superiors believe that if they were to expel the issue from the point at which it'd began, they could cleanse the future of 300 years later, and might finally have a chance at gaining full bodied control over the country, above and below. The task is simple, straightforward and extremely necessary, they explain: every single person on the provided list will in one way or another change the trajectory of the country's future, propelling onward centuries of their legacy, which will turn sour and rotten within 300 years. And for that, they must die. Being a patriot and experienced assassin, Hong questions nothing and sets off on her private mission, 300 years back.2023: It's the year of the rabbit, but for Anaïs it's the year of Seven Deaths. On the list there are seven names. Seven harbingers of pandemonium and destruction, in accordance to the his superiors, government of 300 years into Asia's future. People haven't yet come upon awareness of how much power they truly hold upon the earth; how many kings lay dead in the ground as deliberate sacrifices to their successors. It is true that the fruit of your own hard work is the sweetest when they are finally hung ripe, and to be harvested. But some trees are poisoned by greed, and can only die if they are severed at their very roots. Regicide is at times the only answer to power. Each of these seven people represent the beginnings of a pivot towards the end, however far, and thus shall be disposed of posthaste—says the law of 300 years forward. Anaïs will descend through volatile threads of time, universes and space lightyears, onto the shadows of Seoul and bring with her havoc in a blade. Always be wary of the hands you choose to thrust your loyalty into, though. Because more times than not, poisoned bark is fed to.

— Anaïs was born in the year 2290, on January 1st. Briefly baptized by the ruins of San Francisco, then raised in underground South Korea where her parents had finally settled. She'd lead a fairly regular life for a girl raised in poverty, and by two anarchists, up until the moment of his forced conscription. She had been caught aboveground with some friends during a failed robbery, and had been sentenced to conscription and brutally disciplined into the 'adequate' mentality of a military pawn.— In 2023, she is primarily an Elite soldier from the future, who has time traveled back 300 years for a private mission entrusted by her superiors. She's an antagonist, nationalist and an extremist. A stalwart at best, because she knows no other way.— Her body and psyche do not age while in the past.— A little more susceptible to influence than she admits she is, and thus is a fanatic of daily affirmations for the sake of staying true to herself, her country and her mission.— Doesn't often use her phone for anything other than calls, and prefers avoiding others like her or those who can tell what she is.

HOW QUICKLY THE BLADE BECOMES YOU
On the 24th of December, just a day before Christmas in 2015, Kijun and his comrades had been finally caught and arrested in the Philippines for actively moving counterfeits and recreational drugs within the underbelly of the clubbing businesses in Manila. After getting transferred back to Korea and going through his trial, Kijun had been sentenced to thirteen long months spent in the detention center in Gyeonggi. While serving, to keep himself afloat, he'd sold or rented whatever he could: ranging from cigarettes to porn magazines. Near the end of his sentence, however, Kijun had managed to find himself involved in a bloody six-man fight started by two men with the intention of buying time in the form of getting his sentence extended. Which it had been, by four months due to him repeatedly stabbing and almost killing one of his proven perpetrators with a shard of shattered window glass.Prison was nothing foreign, nor surprising to him, though. Growing up with a single father who, shamelessly so, was also an ex-convict based in Japan, Kijun had been inevitably exposed and subjected to the dangers of the life his father had previously lived. He'd heard many, many stories from his father, who'd been in jail as many times as five. He'd grown to adore his old man for his bravery, and thus, no matter how hard the father had tried and tried again to keep his son away from the thick of it all, the apple had still managed to fall closer to the tree than it possibly ever could.
